Welcome

Welcome to the webpage of the Integrated STEM-CS Learning Group. Here, you can explore our diverse array of projects, access our curriculum resources, read our publications, view our conference presentations, and stay updated with news about our work in STEM and Computer Science education.

Our team is deeply committed to creating curricula that integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and computing (broadly defined) including AI, specifically designed to support multilingual learners in elementary grades. We engage in rigorous educational research to evaluate the impact on both student and teacher outcomes, including understanding of computer science concepts and practices, development of a computer scientist identity, efficacy beliefs in teaching computer science, and the teacher identity positioning.

Currently, our efforts are concentrated on the project "Developing Integrated Computer Science Curricula for Linguistically Diverse Classrooms in Grades 3-5," which is generously supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation's CSforAll Program.

Our group is passionate about

developing integrated STEM curricula.
